When We Are Closed
GP assistance for all surgeries in this area, outside of normal working hours, is provided by the NHS 111 Service - for urgent advice outside of surgery hours please dial 111.
Please note calls to this number from landlines and mobiles is free.
The service is manned by trained call handlers, local to Hampshire and so have good knowledge. Patients will be asked questions about their health problem (or that of the person whom they are calling about) and call handlers will record the details on a database.

All clinicians undergo a rigorous induction process and regular audits are undertaken to ensure quality and patient safety. At all times the service is overseen by an experienced clinical lead who monitors the nature of the incoming calls and regularly checks the advice being given.

Friday from 18:30 until 08:00 Monday
The service is also available on bank holidays.
